Insert Text to Photos, Images or Pictures
PhotoMerge is a free application for Windows that lets you insert text to photos instantly. A nifty tool to add watermark or dates to multiple photos at once. Select the directory containing your photos, select the merge type, type some text, add dates, insert some other information if necessary, and hit the merge button. It is that easy.
Text, frame, borders, or any element that you add to the photo can be modified according to your liking. For example, you can add shadow effect to the text, thicken the borders of the picture, change the size of the text, etc.
Any change you perform can be optionally previewed in real time. The image preview can be enlarged with one click to see the result of your changes in more detail. Moreover, the application provides several different way of merging or inserting text to pictures, which you can see at the screenshot below.

The current version, 4.1, has no option whatsoever to insert text to individual picture. Additionally, you cannot select which photos to be watermarked. If you want to insert text to a single photo or some certain pictures, you’ll have to put the photo or the pictures into a separate directory.
PhotoMerge works under either Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista, NT4, or Windows 2003. You can download the installer or the portable version. However, both versions require Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or higher to be installed on your computer.
